Biography
Gracie currently lives in Southern California. She has been creating art since childhood, and has been doing so professionally for ten years. She has attended school for art history, and is currently finishing her Masters Degree. She is contemplating a PhD in Film and Television, to further immerse herself in the arts.
She was voted in the top ten in the Best of SL Art 2007's "Best Artist in the Creation Arts" category.

She works in what she calls ‘the spontaneous abstract’, working primarily with acrylic paint and mixed media collage.
"In paint, although I do start with a formal structure in mind, my chief concern is with color: how one pigment interacts with and creates visual tension with another – the hammer on the string that sets the soul vibrating. I either spread the paint directly from the tube, or I thin the paint and pour it onto the canvas.
In collage, I use many different kinds of papers that I find visually interesting. This can be found images, patterns and designs as well as advertisements, popular culture and art history. I don’t start out with a finished piece in mind but start with a central piece and then add layer upon layer in a planned spontaneity."[1]
Her physical artworks are subsequently digitized and uploaded into Second Life. Here, she experiments with scale manipulation in order to evoke emotion and creativity in her viewers.
She is very close friends with Jordan Morgenrote in Second Life, and they often stem inspiration from one another.
